About Me
I have been a special and unique individual since I was a child and I enjoy this uniqueness very much. I still remember during my primary school years, while my peers chose the piano as their instrument, I deliberately chose the accordion because I wanted to be different. I am also a complex entity with contradictions, both rational and emotional, and both simple and mature. I am eager to explore the boundaries of science, and at the same time, I am perceptive toward art. I am somehow idealistic and also have a touch of romanticism.
Reflecting on the trajectory of my life, there are several significant stages. In my childhood, my parents served as my first teachers and built in my core values. When I entered university, I became more independent and had more control over my time. It was during this period that I gradually refined my personal values. Later on, pursuing my Ph.D. degree abroad exposed me to diverse cultures, broadened my horizons, and enriched my value system.
Here are a few of my personal beliefs I would like to share with you as follows:

I enjoy food, which is why I also have a passion for cooking, especially making nourishing soups. It's a relaxing process that allows me to temporarily escape the complexities of reality. Additionally, I enjoy traveling very much. It's not just about appreciating the natural landscapes along the journey, but also about experiencing the local unique culture. And what makes these journeys even more extraordinary is encountering unexpectedly fascinating people with interesting souls who generously share their stories and perspectives.
In the field of art, I have a deep interest in movies and music. As a magical art form, both transport me to different worlds, stimulate my imagination and creativity, and at the same time, inspire me to think and reflect. Furthermore, being a YouTuber or a content creator is another passion of mine. I derive great joy from expressing myself, engaging in meaningful exchanges, and sharing my perspectives and values. I enjoy the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds through the Internet, especially during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, which is also when I started my YouTube journey.
"Yu Talk"
"Yu Talk" was my first attempt at creating a talk show program. Although the production was still somehow immature, I consider it a great starting point. It allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and venture into something completely different from my usual research work. At least as the first audience, I was so satisfied. Looking back at my journey of creating videos, I have no regrets and consider it a truly wonderful experience.
The first season consists of 12 episodes, where I expressed my thoughts, judgments, or insights on various topics that intrigued me. The video below showcases the highlights of the first season of "Yu Talk." While the program is primarily conducted in Mandarin, English subtitles have been added for those who are interested. I intend to continue producing future episodes of "Yu Talk" as time permits, so stay tuned for more!
